Welcome to Smart Commute
Smart Commute is a Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) and the City of Greater Sudbury program that helps individuals and organizations travel efficiently and sustainably. This benefits individuals and
communities in many ways including reducing congestion, improving people’s health and taking action on climate
change. To achieve this, the program provides tools and resources that support and incentivize cycling, walking,
carpooling and transit as easy and convenient ways to get around. Smart Commute’s customized programming for
workplaces can improve their employees’ commutes, reduce parking challenges and increase travel options. Learn

SMART COMMUTE SERVICES OFFERED BY:
Smart Commute Month – September 2023!
Get prepared to re-think your commute for fall! Returning to the office, adjusting to hybrid work, heading back to school is a perfect time to try a new way of getting around! Try commuting by carpooling or maybe by bike when working on-site. Or try walking or transit to/from your neighbourhood when working remotely. You’ll not only save money but add steps in your daily routine!
Smart Commute invites you to participate in our annual travel survey to better understand transportation choices by employees. Whether working from home or on-site, and whatever travel mode (drive, ride, etc.) you choose – we want to hear from you!
Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area regions, cities and local municipalities, and the City of Greater Sudbury with Smart Commute invite you to take the Smart Commute Month Survey. Don’t forget to login and register with the Smart Commute app for carpooling and other travel choices!
