Ontario’s One Fare Program is finally here in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area! When you use a PRESTO card, PRESTO in Google Wallet, or credit or debit to transfer between transit agencies, you will be charged only one fare: either your first local fare or your GO Transit fare. Ontario's One Fare Program allows transit riders to only pay once when connecting to and from Brampton Transit, Burlington Transit, Durham Region Transit (DRT), DRT Specialized Services, GO Transit, Hamilton Street Railway, MiWay, Oakville Transit, Toronto Transit Commission (TTC), TTC Wheel Trans, York Region Transit (YRT), and YRT Mobility On-Request.
Travellers connecting to any of the transit agencies below will receive a free trip to a GO Train station or GO bus stop when they show their PRESTO card with Grand River Transit, Milton Transit, Guelph Transit
Bradford West Gwillimbury Transit, or Barrie Transit. Please visit the transit agency’s website for more details.
The program supports the Metrolinx 2041 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP), advancing the integration of transit services and fares, by reducing barriers and enabling cost-savings to make transferring between transit agencies easier for customers.
