Carpooling to work is a fun way to save money while bonding with your coworkers. If you don't have any coworkers or friends willing to carpool you are not completely out of luck. See below for two options you can use.

The Smart Commute app is a great way to connect commuters looking to carpool. You can download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Once downloaded, register for an account then begin logging your trips. The app connects you with fellow carpoolers in your area. You also have the chance to win rewards!

Another thing you can do is choose the uber pool option instead of Ubering by yourself. This allows the uber to pick up you, and someone else in a similar area. They then drop you both off at your locations.

When planning the most efficient trip, consider having everyone you're carpooling with meet at one spot and then drive to your destination from there. Doing that will help the driver avoid having to go to multiple different locations to pick people up. Another thing that can be done is carpooling to a subway station or transit stop and then commute from there if everyone works in different locations.
