Three Intermediate Biking Trails in Toronto to Try This Summer!

Looking for some outdoor activities to do during this beautiful Canadian summer and wanting to try some harder biking trails with stunning views in Ontario? Here are some intermediate biking trails you will enjoy!


1) Sunnyside Beach - Humber Bay Arch Bridge from Eglinton

It begins from Eglinton Train Station then bike to view the sculptures in Don River Valley Park then you pass by Prince Edward bridge. You now head to downtown Toronto and bike west along the lakeshore to Sunnyside Pool and Sunnyside Beach. You continue to the west side and reach Humber Bay Arch Bridge and view some Indigenous Art along Humber River Trail. You then reach South Humber Park for a little rest, you can choose to stop here or continue your loop back to Eglinton which passes Marilyn Bell Park and the Martin Goodman Trail.




2) Toronto Harbour Lighthouse loop from Toronto Union Station

It begins from Toronto Union Station then bike to your first stop at St Andrew’s Church to view the famous portal architecture. Head to the Harbourfront and bike east to Cherry Beach where you will pass by the Cherry Street Strauss Trunnion Bascule Bridge. After taking a break at the Cherry Beach, continue on the Martin Goodman Trail and bike to the Tommy Thompson Park Floating Bridge. If you are not tired, you can even go further to the Toronto Harbour Lighthouse. After a break and some snacks, we are ready to head back to Toronto Union station to end the exciting biking day!




3) Etobicoke Point loop from Toronto Union Station

It begins from Toronto Union Station and heads south to the Harbourfront and starts biking towards the west on Martin Goodman Trail. You will pass by Toronto Music Garden where it is a scenic spot with summer concerts and tours. Then you will pass by Sunnyside Beach for a quick break and enjoy the sun. You will pass through Humber Bay Arch Bridge and continue the west to Humber Bay Park W Trail. Bike past the Humber Bay Park West Parking Lot and you arrive at Etobicoke Point. You can bike the same route back to Union Station. This route is relatively simple compared to the trails above, you can see the beautiful Toronto skyline and enjoy the breeze along Harbour when biking!
