February is Winter Commute Month, and there’s ‘snow’ better time to warm up with a cool commute!
Winter Commute Month celebrates all the ways we can travel in the colder months. With the right gear, sustainable travel shouldn’t stop when the temperature drops! Whether you choose to walk, cycle, carpool, take transit (or even work from home!), log your sustainable commuting trips on the Smart Commute App for a chance to WIN a $100 gift card using the Smart Commute App. Every sustainable trip helps cut emissions, ease traffic congestion, and contribute to cleaner, healthier communities. You could WIN a $100 gift card!
How to participate:
- Complete a sustainable commuting trip. Sustainable trips include: walking, running, taking transit, carpooling, bicycling, rollerblading, skateboarding, or telework.
- Go to SmartCommute.ca and log your trip on the website or mobile app. Each trip you log is one entry into the random prize draw and is automatically entered.
Notes
- New users who create their account between February 1 and 28, 2026, will receive a bonus entry into the random prize draw.
- Please ensure your account email address is entered correctly. If you are the winner, you will be contacted via email.
- You can submit a maximum of two (2) sustainable commuting trips per day throughout the month of February.
- Commuting trips must be taken between February 1 and 28, 2026.
- You have until Friday, March 6, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EST to log your February trips to be eligible for the prize draw.
- Each respective Smart Commute office reserves the right to distribute prizes, subject to change without notice.
- Winners may choose to opt out of receiving the prize.
