Be a more sustainable commuter by mixing it up!
- Try leaving the car at home and take transit to work one day a week.
- Practice a more active commute by walking or cycling to work, it may be quicker, and warmer than you think!
- Why not get off the bus or subway one or two stops early and walk the rest of the way?

Working from home?
Improve your mood and mental health by trying a ‘warm up’ commute while working from home, even if it’s just once a week. There are infinite options!
- Every morning and every evening, warm up and wind down with a good book, or a cup of tea! Record it as ‘Telework’ (work from home) on the Smart Commute Tool.
- Try walking or cycling your favourite winter trail before all the snow melts.
