Choose Your Way
As a very mobile and busy society, we tend to choose the mode of transportation that is the most convenient and time efficient for us when we run errands, travel to work or to school. For some, this means taking the car. With a little planning and consideration, you might find that walking, cycling or taking transit to run errands or commute is as efficient as taking your car. These options can help you save money on fuel, make you fitter and can keep our environment clean.
For longer trips, carpools or vanpools are great options. Riding together with friends and co-workers can be a great time to team-build, read, meditate, or even nap. You might find that working from home or teleworking is a viable option also. The main thing is that by choosing your way, you play your part in helping to reduce the number of cars on the road and improve our air quality.
